One of the Biggest Losses for Music

Its been more than six months since i joined blogger and i feel guilty that i haven't published a single article since then. However, the recent death of the King of Pop, the great Michael Jackson and the very problematic life he led have inspired me to pen a blog now - my first for my blog page.

I never knew much about this music legend. I used to watch his songs only when my sister watched them. For the past eight or nine years, i wasn't really following his music, though i had heard about his court battle and about his conversion to the Muslim faith. And now, when he died and when the TV and the web continue to show his videos and talk about how great a person he was, a great sadness envelopes my heart. As one man noted, with the death of MJ, "music has lost its M."

I must admit that however strange his dressing or behavior might have been, his music and his magnanimous heart just nullify it.

I too wish that this great music icon hadn't gone so soon. Would anyone ever be able to replace him? Only time will tell, though i do hope to see one of his children become if not as great as him, at least, like him.
